For mechanical strength testing of cements, mortars and lime. Featuring two independent test chambers equipped with strain gauge load cells (15 kN for flexural testing and 300 kN for compressive testing), it eliminates errors caused by hydraulic friction to ensure optimum metrological accuracy. Controlled by a servo-regulated touchscreen console, this press automatically applies the standardised loading rates required by EN 196-1, ISO 679 and ASTM C109. 100% automatic management of loading rates and fracture detection. Ultra-precise Class 1 measurement free from interference caused by piston friction. Allows instant switching from flexure to compression without the need to handle heavy tooling.
Measurement & Control System: Servo-Plus Progress automatic console. Independent Measurement Ranges: Flexure (Range 0 to 15 kN): For 40.1 x 40 x 160 mm cement prisms. Compression (Range 0 to 300 kN): For 40 × 40 mm half-prisms, 40, 50, 70 and 100 mm cubes, 2-inch cubes and cylindrical cores (h ≤ 180 mm). Maximum vertical spacing between platen plates: 189 mm.
